ABOUT BILL HAYES

Bill Hayes - the idea-man behind "I Love To Tap!" -  was born in 1925,  a star on Broadway, nightclubs, movies, and television, has appeared in over 100 musicals and has been a song and dance man for over 70 years.  Though not known as a tap dancer, tap is one of his great loves, and in 1991 he came up with the idea and lyrics for "I Love To Tap!" His long-time friend, and choreographer extraordinaire, Tad Tadlock, choreographed the dance in a day, and she and Bill created the delightful musical arrangement for the whole song and dance.

Every tap teacher needs this resource!

Best kept secret on the internet. This routine is GOLDEN and such a crowd pleaser. This routine was wildly popular with my adult tap dancers. And if you teach MDT [Music Dance Theater] kids, they will love it even more. So fun!

I Love To Tap! And no kidding!

I know it's me, Rusty, writing this review, but I just couldn't resist, because it was so much fun learning the routine from Bill Hayes, himself. Now that he is gone, I know he is in Tap Dance Heaven, with all of us learning his happy song and dance.
