A WORKSHOP FOR YOU!

If you are thinking of planning a workshop, here is a great opportunity to add a real bit of living history and thrill for your students.

Rusty Frank (available on her own for tap and swing workshops) has put together two great workshops for you: One with legendary swing "goddess" - 84 year old Jean Veloz, and one with legendary tap "goddess" - 89 year old Miriam Nelson.

JEAN VELOZ (84)
FEATURED MOVIE SWING DANCER FROM THE 1940's

Jean Phelps Veloz, the icon of the Hollywood-Style Lindy to new generations of swing dancers, provides a living bridge from the Los Angeles dance scene of the 1940Ős to the present-day Lindy Hop revival that has swept the United States and the rest of the world since the late 1990Ős.

She was a featured dancer in the swing dancer's iconic films - "Groovie Movie" and "Swing Fever"

Together with her dance pals Rusty Frank and Ron Campbell, Jean Veloz offers an exciting series of workshops on moves and styling. Ron and Rusty fill out the workshops (for the men) with a choice or combination of Dean Collins & Ray Phelps (Jean's extraordinary brother) style.

MIRIAM NELSON (89)
HOLLYWOOD CHOREOGRAPHER AND BROADWAY & MOVIE TAP DANCER

Miriam Nelson began as a performer and went on to be one of the most sought after choreographers in Hollywood. She staged two Academy Awards shows, White House shows, and the opening of Disneyland.
