IT WAS A SMASHING SUCCESS!
TOGETHER WE RAISED $5,763.74
(WHY NOT MAKE IT $6,000?
I JUST LOVE THOSE ROUND NUMBERS!)
We did it! And we had an amazing time! Yes, you read right above, we raised $5,713.74 through our Hop for Haiti last night at Rusty's Rhythm Club.
We had 140 dancers, Lil' Mo & The Dynaflos playing up a storm for us, and just about the best feeling you could ever find! Everyone was so ecstatic about doing what they love - together as a community - and helping a desperate cause through a great organization (Doctors Without Borders).

THANKS TO ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS!!
I would especially like to thank Jean Wren (Silent Auction Coordinator) and Nancy Magnante (Bake Sale Coordinator) for all their hard work and "Rusty Frank Hand Holding and Calming Therapy Sessions". These are two amazing gals.
There were really countless volunteers running around last night helping, and I thank each and every one of you.
THANKS TO ALL OUR DONORS!!!!

All of you bakers and silent auction donors, I thank you, thank you, thank you. I hope everyone out there realizes, that everything was DONATED for the bake sale and auction so it was 100% profit!
I would like to personally thank all the dance vendors I contacted directly for help. They were each so very gracious. Take a look at the list of donations one more time and think about them next time you are thinking about a dress, shoes, dance camps, DVDs... etc.
I have to admit, I'm exhausted! But in a good way. Now, onward and upward in helping the other cities do their Hop for Haiti!
How about a cry for 'CHALLENGE!" to those cities to see if anyone can top our figure?! Click HERE to see a list of the other cities involved, and, if you know them, give them a shout.
THANK YOU AGAIN ALL!
