One aspects that makes me most proud to be part of the swing dance community is its notoriety for generosity!

Every time the call goes out for help, swing dancers are among the first to run forward. We've done so many successful fundraisers over the past years that have proven that we are a most giving crowd.*

In 2007, one of our local dancers, Captain Fun (Cathryn Sayre) came up with our now annual Holiday fundraiser idea -- gift cards for the women at the Good Shepherd Shelter right here in Los Angeles. Mark Barclay made the beautiful flyer above. What a great group we have!

Let's see what we can do to help make this holiday season a little brighter for those less fortunate.
